Notice is hereby given that the Treasurer’s Preliminary Budget for the Fiscal Year 2012-2013 of the Village of Suffern, Rockland County, New York, has been prepared in the required manner, and the Mayor and Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, in the Municipal Building, 61 Washington Avenue, Suffern, New York, for the purpose of accepting comments on such budget.
As per the requirements of Section 5-508-(3) of the Village Law, this Notice hereby states that the maximum compensation offered to be paid in the 2012-2013 Fiscal Year Budget to the Mayor in the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), to each Four Trustee Members of the Board the sum of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($10,500.00) each, and to the Deputy Mayor the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) additional.
A copy of the Treasurer’s Preliminary Budget, as prepared, is now on file in the Village Clerk’s Office, where it may be inspected by any interested person during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
